Altering the Title Printed at the Top of a Lab. Test Chart Report
Background: Many customers have contacted us wanting to get a price
for changing the title printed at the top of one of the chart reports printed by
their LabSuite, CLSuite, Proctor, GrainSize or CONS programs. (For example, the
stock consolidation report is titled "CONSOLIDATION TEST REPORT" --
many customers would prefer to add an appropriate test procedure designation,
e.g., "ASTM D 2435 CONSOLIDATION TEST REPORT".
Good news! You don't need to have GEOSYSTEM customize the report. You can
change your lab. module report's title yourself: start your GEOSYSTEM for
Windows software and open the setup window for your lab. program
("Options" > "GrainSize Setup", "Options" >
"PROCTOR Setup", etc.):
- To change the GrainSize report title, click on "Chart Reports" in the left-hand navigation panel
(if you've licensed the LabSuite or CLSuite programs, look underneath the "Grain Size Distribution"
heading), then change the "Report title" listed on the right.
- To change the Proctor report title, click on "Chart Reports" in the left-hand navigation panel
(if you've licensed the LabSuite or CLSuite programs, look underneath the "Moisture-Density"
heading), then change the "Report title" listed on the right.
- To change the Atterberg Limits report title, click on "Chart
Reports" in the left-hand navigation panel (look underneath the
"Atterberg Limits" heading), then change the "Report
title" listed on the right.
- For CONS you have two titles (one for the compression report and one for the
time-rate report) -- these titles are found by clicking on "Compression
Reports" and "Time-Rate Reports" buttons in the dialog's left-hand
navigation panel.
