Missing Stratigraphy Transition Lines in LOGDRAFT 5

Last Revised 11.Nov.2011

Problem: LOGDRAFT does not plot stratigraphy transition lines except at depths where the stratigraphy pattern changes.

Explanation: This behavior is by design. Stratigraphy lines are traditionally used to show stratigraphy layer changes; at depths where a stratigraphy pattern is entered that is identical to pattern shown at the depths directly above, there's not a layer change and so the extraneous line is automatically eliminated.

Solution: If you don't like this behavior, start the software, select "Options" > "Setup General Options", click on "Reporting Options" in the left-hand navigation panel, then uncheck the box titled "Eliminate duplicate patterns at successive depths".
