The Legend Notes

LOGDRAFT prints a set of notes at the bottom of the first page of all hard copy legends (you can see these notes at the bottom of this figure, and in the sample closeup shown in this figure.

Example Legend Notes

To modify the legend notes:

1. Open the project's legend file.
2. Click on "Notes" in the list shown on the left side of the screen.

• Note that the legend notes in the default legend file shipped with the program include the text @BDATE: this automatically inserts the date of the boring into the notes. You can automatically insert other items from the source heading or project data entry screen by using the "@" symbol, followed by the name of the data entry field that you want to print. For example, The project number is @PROJ_NUM will automatically print the project number in your notes.
