The SAMPLERS legend file list holds descriptions for the symbols used to denote sampler types: These descriptions are shown on legends as well as in the sampler symbol dialog.
To change the legend description for a sampler symbol:
- Open the project's legend file.
- Click on "SAMPLERS" in the list shown on the left side of the screen.
- Locate the card that lists the sampler symbol in which you're interested.
- Change the description listed on that card.
You can also rename a sampler symbol -- this is useful when, for example, you want to use the A symbol to denote undisturbed samplers (you would want to rename the sampler symbol A to U to make it easy to remember). To rename a symbol, refer to the instructions for renaming a stratigraphy symbol discussed in this section. (Note that, unlike stratigraphy symbols, sampler symbols can be renamed to a name having more than one letter: For example, you can rename A to UNDST.)
