Installable Grain Size Specification Envelopes for GrainSize/CLSuite4/LabSuite4

Version 4.x of the GEOSYSTEM GrainSize, CLSuite4 and LabSuite4 programs support the addition of downloadable specification envelopes to the programs' specification envelope list. (For more information on specification envelopes, see Section 2.3.6 in the GrainSize, CLSuite4 or LabSuite4 User's Guide.) The list below provides download links for specialized specification envelopes from various state Departments of Transportation and other organizations.

To install one of these specification envelopes, begin by installing the latest GrainSize/CLSuite4/LabSuite4 update from this link (note: this step is mandatory -- do not continue before updating your system). Next, right-click on one of the files linked below, select "Save Target As" then save the file to the hard disk subdirectory where you've installed your GEOSYSTEM program package. (Vista users: Save the file to C:\users\public\documents\GEOSYSTEM)

Finally, restart your GEOSYSTEM program.

After you've installed your system, create or open a grain size test, select "Window" > "Sample Info.", then drop down the "Specification" box to find your new envelope.
